The market of this sector is highly complex and competitive, and its customers are more and more demanding and attentive when selecting their suppliers. The most part of our automotive customers are OEMs, Tier1 and Tier 2 highly specialised suppliers, whom Silmax offers standard and special tools, end mills and drills in different sizes, with the aim ofimproving their performances and productivity, with a constant quality that isrepeatable over time.
Thanks to these abilities, Silmax cooperates with the most important Italian and international automotive enterprises in the development of primary components: valves, hydraulic drives, pump bodies, joints, flanges, dies and moulds, (see dedicated HRC section), structural components. The technological challenge consists in machining a wide range of materials, such as steels, metal-powdered steels, stainless steels, aluminium alloys, heat-resistant alloys, plastic materials, mould steels, copper-tungsten alloys and other developing materials.
