The design and all stages of production up to the coating and 4S treatments of a wide range of standard and special tools are entirely carried out in house, in our factory in Italy, by using modern systems and state-of-the art technologies.

Silservice is our reconditioning service (sharpening and recoating), for tools manufactured by us or by third parties, by which we guarantee a reliable and well-performing product as only a manufacturer like Silmax can do.

Silservice

Silmax keeps the DNA of its customers’ tools in its R&D Center. In this way, Silmax is able to recondition your tool based on the related technical drawings and give it a new life, allowing similar performances to those of a new tool.

PVD Coating

Silmax, strengthened by its partnership with Oerlikon Balzers, has built in 2013 at its headquarters in Lanzo Torinese a plant dedicated to PVD coating of cutting tools, with two plants INNOVENTA kila and INGENIA. Silmax is able to meet all the requirements for PVD coating of tools and other components and for R&D activities.
