We are delighted to announce the opening of our new SILMAX PFERD TOOLS INDIA plant at our headquarters in India.
This is an important milestone that represents a new era of growth, innovation and technological advancement in the Indian mechanical processing and manufacturing industry.
The event highlighted our commitment to providing 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 -𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤 𝙣𝙨, improving technical support and strengthening our presence in the Indian market to better serve our customers. The day was marked by great enthusiasm, interest and participation on the part of guests and invitees.
The new plant in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, covers 10,000 square metres, of which 5,000 are already operational.
Its production capacity is 4,000-5,000 tools per month, and it plans to hire an additional 50 employees in India over the next three years.
There are also significant skills development programmes for engineering graduates starting in 2026.
Mr J. Bielenberg (Managing Director of PFERD TOOLS), Dr D Fumagalli (CEO of SILMAX PFERD TOOLS ITALY) and Mr F Kumar (CEO of SILMAX PFERD TOOLS INDIA) presented the new production facility dedicated to the local market, which will respond efficiently and quickly to the demands of the Indian market.
