The OTEC 4S treatment for a superfinishing of the cutting-edge surface, before and after the coating process, is studied to guarantee:

PVD Coating
Relying on the experience gained during its thirty-year partnership with Oerlikon Balzers, in 2013 Silmax opened a new factory dedicated to PVD coating in its premises of Lanzo Torinese, with INNOVENTA kila e INGENIA equipments.
Silmax is able to satisfy all needs for PVD coating of tools and other components and for R&D activities.
